Dr. Wombold, a board certified General Surgeon, will be starting an outreach surgery clinic at Ellett Memorial Hospital on September 13^th.  He will be performing surgical consultations, EGDs, Colonoscopies and minor surgical procedures. 

 

Dr. Wombold grew up in Alberta, Canada on a 1,500 acre dairy farm, and has farmed all his life, which is why he prefers working in a rural setting.  He is married and has two sons, ages 17 & 20.  He graduated from college in Walla Walla, Washington, and completed his residency and internship at Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

 

Dr. Wombold’s work history includes work at Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton, MO, from August 2004 to present; Cedar County Hospital in El Dorado Springs, MO, from 1998 to 2004; and in Colville, WA, from 1989 – 1998.
